El Calafate in Patagonia, Argentina
After three days in Buenos Aires, we flew down south to El Calafate where our hotel for the next three days was located. The hotel was situated on top of a hill with panoramic views of the Southern Andes mountains in Patagonia, Argentina. 
We arrived mid-afternoon. After settling in the hotel, we explored the town by walking to the end of the street where you can take panoramic photos and then go down stairs and walk into downtown.
Glacier Perito Moreno
Full day excursion to this glacier included a boat ride on Lake Argentina to get close to this natural wonder that is slightly larger than Buenos Aires city! and the third largest glacier in the world. Here are the slideshows of the bus ride to Perito Moreno, the boat ride, and hiking one of the trails in Parque Nacional Los Glaciares.
